3D / Digital Fashion Internship

Job description

At INDG we develop technology that enables engaging, hyper-realistic digital product experiences. Our goal is to make "every product playable", by combining the science of technology with the artistry of computer-generated content. For the past 15 years, we have been helping multinational companies like Adidas, Puma, Tommy Hilfiger, Yamaha, Ralph Lauren, Electrolux and Philips from our bases in Amsterdam, New York, and Bucharest.

Our CG artists, interactive designers, and developers focus on creating products so lifelike it feels like you could reach out and touch them. Yes, at INDG we geek out to sexy technology like 3D modeling and AR, but behind the bits and bytes is an obsessive drive to design sophisticated technology and software solutions.

We are a young and dynamic company, continually evolving and (hopefully) maturing. The same goes for how we position ourselves and what we communicate to the rest of the world. The values that drive us are a strong eye for detail with a constant push for quality and imagination.

Being a company who works with many different brands we'd like to offer you the opportunity to share with us your skills, creativity, and passion for technology and fashion and join us on a journey, you will help to visualize various products in the markets that INDG operates in. After an introduction term in which the workflow is explained and dependant to your experience, you will learn about the tools (Clo3D, Marvelous Designer, 3ds Max, Vray, Photoshop and After Effects), you will work on one or more client projects of which we believe would be relevant to your internship. We are used to working in (small) teams, so as an intern you will be involved in all steps of the process from the creation to the delivery phase of 3D visualizations. Dependant on your personal interest and skills, you can focus on animation projects, still-projects or a combination of both.

You will learn to work in a professional environment where quality is essential and deadlines have to be met. During your internship, you will be part of the team and support them in their projects. Based on your experience and ambition, you will be teamed up with an experienced artist from whom you will be able to learn a lot. Besides that, you will learn a lot from working together with both Project managers as well as Art directors that are actively involved in our projects.

You will be working fulltime in a project team and on individual assignments. The internship is for at least four months for 32 or 40 hours per week. INDG will pay a monthly compensation during this period.

Job requirements

  • 3rd or 4th-year student, currently enrolled in a study program
  • English required spoken and written
  • Team player, proactive, sense of responsibility
  • The desire to work within the fashion vertical/with well-known brands

During the internship we offer an appropriate monthly compensation, (Friday afternoon) drinks and pizza, and a nice office at the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam.

“The mindset at INDG is focused around an incredible eye for the smallest detail. All products made by INDG are of the highest level. Working in this environment teaches you to be critical and being mentored by professionals who have been rendering for 15 years offers a great deal of experience”
