CG Production Supervisor

Job description

CG Production Supervisor

For the 3D production studio inside Grip, we are looking for a Head of CG / Production Supervisor to lead the team of 20+ CG specialists. CG production in Grip means large scale production of photoreal images and videos, strict quality control and automation where possible.

As our Production Supervisor you oversee our entire production and ensure high quality output, within time and budget, with an extremely high focus on automation.

Our team consists of 3D Modelers, Render Artists, Technical Artists, Artwork Specialists and Asset Producers. Our client base consists largely of big consumer package goods companies, like Coca-Cola, L’Oréal and Heineken. Over time, Grip will expand to other product categories as well.

From a leading position, you are responsible for the performance of your team, both in terms of delivering top notch quality as well as scaling up to almost infinite numbers of output. You have a deep understanding of CG pipelines and are able to coach your team to do their best work.

What’s Grip?

Grip is web-based solution that automatically generates visual content. It’s based on photorealistic 3D, capitalizing on INDG’s twenty-year-long experience in that field. 3D is good because once your beer or your juicer or your rocket is on Grip, it can be used and re-used for multiple media: images, videos, iOS apps, and such.

This vision has worked quite well with clients: in less than two years, Grip won Coca-Cola, Nivea, Heineken, L'Oreal and others. As you can imagine, working with these companies requires knowing why, when and how they produce the thousands of visuals we've been trying to automate. Now, Grip is changing every day to accommodate the things we learn.

What will you do?

  • Leading a team of CG specialists
  • Ensure structured workflows
  • Oversee the quality of all work from 3D related disciplines.
  • Defining and protecting the quality standards
  • Together with Pipeline/TA you will define a strong yet flexible pipeline for 3D disciplines.
