Grip (http://grip.tools) is a fast-growing, recently released SaaS product, which has already attracted clients like Heineken, Akzo, L’Oréal and Nivea. It was launched in 2017 by INDG (http://indg.com) to fully automate the creation of visual content for manufacturers of physical goods.
In time, Grip will become a suite of web-based applications that automatically generate creative things like simple product pages or product videos. For now, only one Grip tool has been launched - Grip Still Shots. It does product images - which is no small thing: for instance, Coca-Cola needs 400,000 of them every year. Grip is based on photorealistic 3D, capitalizing on INDG’s fifteen-year-long experience in that field. 3D is good because once your beer or your juicer or your rocket is on Grip, it can be used and re-used for multiple media: images, videos, iOS apps and so on. GRIP is experiencing exciting growth and expansion.
As a Backend development intern, you will work on many different projects and tasks in the Development department. You will be working with 2 Backend Developers with whom you can brainstorm about internal projects you will work on. You will participate in all phases of project lifecycle.
